Hair Loss

Globally, around 40 percent of women and 50 percent of men suffer from falling hair and hair loss by the age of 50. Losing hair for women can be devastating, for men it can be associated with loss of youth and appeal.

Whether you have thinning hair or hair loss, if you want to stop this cruel process in its tracks, then we have a range of treatments available to aid hair rejuvenation

Mesotherapy

How does it work?
Using a targeted cocktail of FDA approved ingredients; the scalp is given a vitamin boost which can improve blood circulation to the area. Increased circulation allows the hair follicles to be better nourished, all of which can improve hair re-growth. Over time, the Mesotherapy solution will neutralize the DHT hormone (the hormone responsible for hair loss), causing hair to grow again.

How is treatment administered?
Using a series of micro injections the rejuvenating cocktail is administered directly under the scalp to target hair follicles

Is it painful?
Patients may feel a slight pinching or burning sensation when the injections are administered.

Will I need more than one treatment?
For the treatment to be effective you may need up to 5 sessions of Mesotherapy treatment for hair loss over a period of 4 to 6 months before you see significant results.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Treatment

How does it work?
The treatment work best in patients with partial thinning rather than complete loss, as if the hair follicles are entirely lost, the treatment will not work.

Suitable for both women and men, it also can be used to enhance healing and hair growth after hair transplantation.

The PRP treatment uses ingredients such as growth hormones collected from the patient’s own blood to stimulate the regrowth of elastin and collagen fibres, which in turn stimulate the hair follicles to encourage hair growth.

How is treatment administered?
A small volume of blood that has been collected from the patient’s arm is then separated to produce the PRP matrix. After using the patient’s own meso roller to open channels for better product penetration, the PRP is injected just below the surface of the skin to stimulate cell proliferation, a biological mechanism that promotes circulation to rejuvenate the hair follicles through a process of targeted tissue regeneration.

Is it painful?
The area can be numbed using topical anesthesia to ensure minimal discomfort.   A brief period of inflammation at wound sites may be experienced by a patient after PRP. The scalp is usually tender for several days after the procedure.

Will I need more than one treatment?
For optimum results, two treatments spaced out by two to three months is recommended for rapid growth.

Following this, there will be a marked decrease of hair shedding and  hair will have more volume and fullness.
