Turn Back the Clock with Fillers
Have you ever looked in the mirror and pulled the skin back to see if you look younger? What you are actually doing is lifting and softening the skin, creating a younger looking you. This look can be achieved with dermal fillers.
What areas can be treated?
Dermal fillers can 'fill out' and smooth away several areas including, nasolabial lines (nose to mouth grooves), forehead lines, crows' feet, lines around the mouth and the decolletage area. Fillers are also effective for increasing fullness to narrow lips, enhancing sunken cheeks and can even be used to reverse the signs of ageing on the hands.
How does it work?
Youthful skin is rich in hyaluronic acid, a chemical which occurs naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid is vital for hydration of the skin as well as keeping it firm. As we age, the distribution and function of hyaluronic acid in our skin gradually changes, leading to the characteristic signs of aging such as sagging, wrinkling and fine lines. Fillers work by enhancing the skin's own stocks of hyaluronic acid, directly adding volume to either soften the signs of aging or enhance facial features. Dermal fillers provide the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid which is effective in eliminating wrinkles immediately.
How is treatment administered?
The procedure involves injecting small amounts of filler using an extremely fine needle into the area of concern.
Is it painful?
A topical anaesthetic cream will be applied prior to treatment, minimising any discomfort.
Is it safe?
At Eternel Clinic we use fillers that do not contain any animal derived, allergy-causing ingredients; therefore an allergy test will not be required. All fillers are completely biocompatible, biodegradable and natural therefore you can be assured that the treatment is completely safe. Some patients may experience slight redness or mild bruising to the treatment area which are only temporary and will disappear over a period of a few days.
Offering long-lasting results, meso fillers are an alternative to mesotherapy which offer facial rejuvenation and promote skin firmness.
Like dermal fillers, meso fillers are comprised of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance that aids skin firmness, which is placed into the skin via a series of individual injections.
In addition to using meso fillers on the face and décolleté area, this type of filler can be used on other parts of the body, such as the elbows and the knees to stimulate skin rejuvenation
